OOAK Historical Snow White doll - For Sale by Whitestar1802 OOAK Historical Snow White doll - For Sale by Whitestar1802
My latest OOAK doll: Historical Snow White! I had so much fun making her, and I’m really proud of how she turned out. Obviously not my design. It was done by :iconshoomlah: and you can find the original here: shoomlah.deviantart.com/art/I-…

Snow White has been customized from a JCPenny's Classic Doll. Her dress is sewn from materials like velvet, crepe, and satin. The beading on her bodice and skirt was done by hand, and is accented by Swarovski Crystals to represent apples in the design. Her hairnet or "snood" is completely hand beaded and ties at the back. Her shoes were sanded down from the original pointy heels into gentle curves with gold bows. Her petticoat is trimmed with lace, and I've included a velvet travel cloak like she wears in the movie. Her face has also been re-worked, her eyes and lips given a coating of gloss and she has beautiful rooted eyelashes.

I've tried to contact Shoomlah several times for permission to sell this doll, but since she hasn't replied I'm putting her up for sale. If you know of a surefire way to talk to her, please tell me so I can make sure she isn't upset. I've now gotten her permission to sell this doll. The starting price will be $250 because of the extra effort I put into her. Feel free to contact me, though I'm always open to bargaining and trying to reach a price that's good for both parties.

Oh wow, this is gorgeous! Do you think you'll be doing any of the other princesses?

I probably won't do a Historical Princess anytime soon, but I'm actually working on Jasmine in her Peacock dress, and next I'll probably do Rapunzel in the outfit her Couture de Force figure wears. It could change though, you never know what I may be inspired to do next.

Ahhhokay!
Yeah looks pretty difficult to do all those tiny details :0 You killed it though! Awesome job! I bet the Jasmine one and the Rapunzel one will be amazing as well. Keep up the good work :D

Looks gorgeous! The best way to contact me is usually email- I've been out of town the past couple of weeks and have been unable to check messages. :)

I'm totally fine with you selling her, but advice for the future- if you haven't heard back from an artist, you really need to err on the safe side and probably should wait until you have solid permission! It kinda negates the politeness of asking if you go ahead with it either way. :P
