Sister Dearest...

More MLP fanart. I actually started watching the show a few days ago, and got inspired to draw this after the first 2 episodes. It's human versions of Celestia and Luna, and their armies about to decide who controls day and night. Also inspired by the Red and White Queens from Alice in Wonderland.

I swear, this was alot harder than it looks. The designs were pretty hard, for starters. To turn such simple pony designs into lacey, royal dressses with armor for battle took awhile. And, of course, I was too lazy to fully plan the colors of each section before drawing, so I had to compromise mid-way. Then Celestia's hair gave me such hell. Originally it was going to be white, with rainbow at the ends, but then I went for what you see now. The two also look a bit different from how I imagined. Luna was supposed to look younger, but here she looks a bit too evil. And Celestia was supposed to be battle scarred, but here she just looks crazy. XD Also, my second time painting blood. I hope I didn't go overboard like last time.

But, overall, I think this turned out okay. ^^ Enjoy.
