I saw this. I cried. I loved it. I drew fanart.
Seriously, Wolf Children was so amazing. It was kind of awkward and weird, but still really beautiful and sweet and I love all the characters.
So, after working on that recent Breath of Fire work, I was inspired by the game's concept art to start with traditionally sketched and inked works before coloring. How I lived without a calligraphy pen and India Ink is beyond me, but I love the resulting feel and texture, so I think I'll keep up working like this.
