The Gala Collection: Twilight

For Twilight I wanted something completely different from other versions of her Gala dress people draw for humanizations. I found inspiration in the designer Sari actresses wear in India. Twi likes simple outfits, and it doesn't get much simpler than a big rectangle you wrap around yourself. Actually, it's wrapped around a fit-and-flair purple dress. The Sari itself will be beaded at the edges in sky blue that reflects a rainbow spectrum. The Sari will be made of translucent navy blue material with sequins to imitate the night sky.
